Dance Schools across the US are Loving my Music!
If you have been following me for at least 2 years you probably read in some of my previous posts about all these dance schools across the country using my music for their Beautiful dance choreography… since they heard my songs on the national and now international Hit TV show Dance Moms on Lifetime TV Networks.
It seems that they can’t get enough of my songs! Some of them end up on Youtube… to my DELIGHT!!!:
A Dance School in Maryland did this AMAZING Dance with my song “Renew”! With it, they won the Platinum Medal (the highest) and received First place in their division and Second highest score Overall for all duos/ trios at NextStar Dance Competition in Lancaster PA!

The next one that I would like to share is quite special too.
Young talented Choreographer Ariana Avina from PirouettePeople is from Gregori High School in California and she wrote me the following: “Every year the Dance program at my school puts together a spring concert to showcase dances choreographed by students in the dance production class. This year the theme of the show was “In Time” and all of the dances represented different time periods in history. I was trying to think of dance ideas that weren’t the traditional decades dance (50s, 80s, etc). In my History class we were studying pioneers in America and I watched a film about the Donner Party. I have no idea why, but the song just kind of reminded me of that and it was perfect! It’s such a beautiful song and it gave me chills when I was choreographing, I’m proud of how it turned out.”
I was particularly surprised when at the end of the dance she did a really dramatic effect by compiling the original version of my song “Keep this for you” with the “Acoustic” (that’s the last track on the album). The acoustic version is indeed slower and wow did the dance do something really moving with that effect.
If you are a Choreographer or Dancer and have done a Dance with one of my songs, show me the video! I truly love this! You see as a songwriter and music composer/producer I get to express a message and there is nothing better than seeing it re-interpreted through a different Artform, arrangements of body movements and emotion and through the mind of other talented Artists!
