Sang “God Bless America” for 600 pple, NY1, FOX5 & Now a GRAMMYs Academy Voting Member

Lots of Awesome stuff happened in September!!

On Thursday Sept 26th I was invited to perform “God Bless America” at the corporate event “6th Annual Kings of Queens County A Champions Breakfast Awards & Networking Event” at the elegant Terrace on the Park in Flushing Meadows, NYC. About 600 people attended, including NY1, FOX5, New York Mayoral Candidate Joe Lhota and more. My name was listed on the event’s official program. Reporter Kerry Drew from FOX5 tweeted to me the following day “I enjoyed your performance! You were great”, and FOX5 News Anchor Steve Lacy tweeted “You were great” (They are both sitting to the left). This is the Performance video!

Fun Tweets with the FOX 5 Reporter and Anchor:

***I was recently welcomed by the Recording Academy (The GRAMMYs) as a Voting Member! Which means I can not only vote but also go to all of their events!

***Then finally I was interviewed by Evan Ginzburg last week on his Legends Radio show (he has interviewed Ray Manzarek of The Doors, Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins and more) – you can hear a clip of my portion below (or here’s the whole show on their website here):
